Wednesday, April 24, at 5 p.m.: an after-work session with the artist, open to everyone.
In collaboration with the Centre culturel de Paspébiac, Rencontres internationales de la photographie en Gaspésie is hosting the artist Natacha Clitandre for a participatory-art residency. From April 22 to May 5 she’ll be heading out to encounter the Gaspé coast, its population and its narratives.
After work with the artist
You’re invited to come meet Natacha Clitandre on April 24, 2019, at 5 p.m. Learn more about participatory art and digital art, about how to take part in her work, and journey with the artist as she presents her projects undertaken in Montreal, New York, and upcoming in the Gaspé Peninsula.

Take part in the work!
In order to capture and document the evolution of the landscape, an invitation goes out to the people of Paspébiac and surroundings who’d like to share their experience of the coast and of the perceived changes on the human scale. Natacha Clitandre will be welcoming participants at the library to collect their stories. These will be documented in writing, audio-recorded and photographed.
> Municipal Library of Paspébiac, every day from 2 to 5 p.m. (according to the library’s opening hours; see timetable).
> Walks will also be organized in areas suggested by participants from the coast.
