The public is invited to view them until mid-September in 13\u00a0host municipalities.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s theme \u2013 \u201cVisible. Invisible.\u201d<\/b> \u2013 gives free rein to the interpretation we bring to the photograph, to what it embodies in our day-to-day life, in our relationship with the real and our perception of the world. It also serves as a pretext to present the body of work of the different artists taking part in this 5th edition of Rencontres.<\/p>\n
AVIGNON<\/b> <\/b>\/\/ <\/b>In Matapedia<\/b>, in Saint-Laurent-de-Matap\u00e9dia church, the exhibit Nomad<\/i> by Kitra Cahana<\/b><\/a> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec) will be held. In Miguasha<\/b>, on the site of the national park, Donald Weber<\/b><\/a> (Los Angeles, California) presents the exhibit Quniqjuk, Qunbuq, Quabaa<\/i>. Carleton-sur-Mer<\/b> will play host to four exhibits: Ice<\/i>, by Flora<\/b><\/a> (Paris, France), the fruit of an artist residency in the Gasp\u00e9 in the winter of 2013, will be staged at the Vaste et Vague artist center; Changing the World,<\/i> by Gilbert Garcin<\/b><\/a> (Marseilles, France), at Saint-Joseph school; and also Volatile Slide and Other Disorders,<\/i> by Maryse Goudreau<\/b><\/a> (Miguasha, the Gasp\u00e9) and The Sensor<\/i>, by Bertrand Carri\u00e8re<\/b><\/a> (Longueuil, Qu\u00e9bec), on the municipal beach. In Maria<\/b>, at Parc du Vieux-Quai, Helen Sear<\/b><\/a> (Raglan, Wales, United Kingdom) will be exhibiting Pastoral Monuments<\/i> and Inside the View<\/i>, while Michael Flomen<\/b><\/a> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec) will be presenting Higher Ground<\/i>. The Gesgapegiag<\/b> reserve, meanwhile, will be hosting Tia\u2019Mugwet <\/i>(Moose Hunt) by Estelle Marcoux<\/b><\/a> (Caplan, the Gasp\u00e9).<\/p>\n BONAVENTURE<\/b> <\/b>\/\/ <\/b>In New Richmond<\/b>, Pointe-Taylor park will present Fallen Princesses<\/i> by Dina Goldstein<\/b><\/a> (Vancouver, British Columbia). In Bonaventure<\/b>, at the Saint-Bonaventure church, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois B\u00e9rub\u00e9<\/b><\/a> (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec) will exhibit part of the works of Bonum iter Compostellam<\/i> (Have a good trip to Compostela). In Pasp\u00e9biac<\/b>, at the cultural center, Isabelle Hayeur<\/b><\/a> (Rawdon, Qu\u00e9bec) will present Mirages<\/i>, while the warehouse LeBoutillier & Brothers on the Banc-de-P\u00eache-de-Pasp\u00e9biac historical site will host Possible and Imaginary Lives <\/i>by Yasmine Eid-Sabbagh <\/b>and Rozenn Qu\u00e9r\u00e9<\/b><\/a> (Brussels, Belgium).<\/p>\n ROCHER-PERC\u00c9<\/b> <\/b>\/\/ <\/b>Chandler<\/b> will offer The Girl Who Sees the Verses <\/i>by Rina Vukobratovic<\/b><\/a> (Novi Sad, Serbia) on the Parc du Souvenir road and Circuit des b\u00e2tisseurs bridge. Perc\u00e9<\/b> will be hosting, near the dock and on the promenade along the sea, Eyes on the Collection Loto-Qu\u00e9bec,<\/i> showing 35\u00a0years of Qu\u00e9bec creation through the works of 23\u00a0photographers<\/b>.
