Held for the most part out of doors, the 16\u00a0exhibits and installations will show the work of 15\u00a0artists from Qu\u00e9bec and abroad, along with a selection of photographic works gathered in the exhibition <\/span><em><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">L\u2019espace du livre<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\">. With just two exceptions, each of the exhibits will run from July 15 to September 30, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/565672699?app_id=122963\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen title=\"&amp;Eacute;dition 2021 | EXPOSITIONS | photogaspesie.ca\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-CA\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">To see in the C\u00f4te-de-Gasp\u00e9 RCM<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-CA\"><em><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Sound Mirrors<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Bertrand Carri\u00e8re (Longueuil, Qu\u00e9bec) will be presented at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Vieille-Forge site in Petite-Vall\u00e9e, while Mus\u00e9e de la Gasp\u00e9sie, in Gasp\u00e9, will play host to the augmented-reality project <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Plongeons<\/span><\/em><\/strong> <span lang=\"en-US\">by Sven (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec). Still in Gasp\u00e9, <\/span><em><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">As if the day never existed<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Nele Van Canneyt (Belgium) will take place near the Horacio LeBouthillier house (a few steps from the Birthplace of Canada).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-CA\"><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">To see in the Rocher-Perc\u00e9 RCM<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-CA\"><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Fabric of self: folded and folded again, 2021<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Maude Arsenault (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec) will be presented in two locations in Perc\u00e9: on the boardwalk (Charles-Robin historical sector in \u00cele-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Perc\u00e9 National Park) and near Rue du Quai. In Chandler, the park in front of Cantine du Chenail will host <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Isolation<\/span><\/em><\/strong> <span lang=\"en-US\">by documentary photographer Renaud Philippe (Qu\u00e9bec City, Qu\u00e9bec).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">To see in the Bonaventure RCM<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><em><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Time\u2019s out | Temps fluide<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Marie-Claude Gendron (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec), composed of photos and videos, will take place in two outdoor settings: the site of Centre culturel de Pasp\u00e9biac, and the boardwalk. The video installation <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Why Should I Stop?<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Leila Zelli (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec), meanwhile, will be staged inside the cultural center. Near the tourist information center in Bonaventure, the public will be able to see <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">A Sisterhood<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> (a community of nuns) by artist Valeria Luongo (Great Britain). At New Richmond, Taylor\u2019s Point Park will be exhibiting <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">The places that inhabit us<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\">, the result of the photographic mission by Chlo\u00e9 Beaulac (Longueuil, Qu\u00e9bec) in the Laurentians in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">To see in the Avignon RCM<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Maria will host <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Amour (Amur)<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> by artist Claudine Doury (France), a member of Agence VU\u2019. This exhibit will be installed near the natural steel frame (a work of art by Yves Gonthier) in the rest stop area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Three exhibitions will be held in Carleton-sur-Mer. <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Documentary Adrift<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Nayla Dabaji (Montreal, Qu\u00e9bec), bringing together photographic, textual and sound elements, will take place at the Vaste et Vague artist center from August 6 to September 6, 2021. <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">A Dialogue with Solitude<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Dave Heath (Toronto, Ontario), will be presented at Parc des Horizons. Finally, <\/span><em><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">L\u2019espace du livre\u00a02021<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\"> will be held at the Gabrielle-Bernard-Dub\u00e9 library from July 30 to September 4, 2021. This exhibition consists of more than 25 Qu\u00e9bec-published photobooks chosen by curator Serge Allaire and the same number of French books selected by the Nantes-based organization Pratiques et Usages de l\u2019Image, all of which consider publication as the intended result of an artistic approach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-CA\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Miguasha National Park, in Nouvelle, will be hosting <\/span><em><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">Gypsies<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Jacques L\u00e9onard (Spain) outside the former visitor center. A new exhibit location, the Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site in Pointe-\u00e0-la-Croix, will welcome <\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en-US\">Traces<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span lang=\"en-US\"> by Yves\u00a0Arcand (Matane, Qu\u00e9bec).
